The History of Fortis House Directory

Fortis House Directory.co.uk was founded in 2008 by Oxmedia Digital (a web development company) who noticed that it cost a small fortune for small businesses to advertise their products and services. Our vision was to allow all businesses regardless of size or their marketing budget to create a detailed company profile abit like google listings with more options which would provide customers with information in a common format.

In 2009 Mittul Amin (a Software Engineer) and an old friend of Oxmedia Digital, joined the project just as Fortis House Directory was getting off the ground.

Prior to Fortis House Directory, Bulent Ok and Mittul Amin worked together running a small web development company and cut their teeth developing advanced database driven web applications for various clients.

The number of visitors to the site continues to rise, and we continue to develop the site based on the valuable feedback we receive.
